It has been very interesting these last two years.....having lived in Florida for so long and then relocating back to my home state of Wild Wonderful West Virginia! I guess that we forgot why we moved to Florida in the first place! Anyhow, after opening Frankies Cafe', (embellished in antique Whippet and Greyhound Memorabilia) in the Vintage Gaslight Theatre and Antique Book Store,and hosting many fine musical events in Sisterville, WV, I was asked to train Greyhounds at Mardi Gras Casino, Resort and Racetrack in Cross Lanes (Charleston) WV.
The dogs and people were wonderful to work with, but my dear whippets were longing for warmer climates again, so we took the plunge and returned to Florida, where I continue to show my dogs, work on my pottery and venture into some new exciting designs! I've been working hard on my BREED WIN AKC ROSETTE COLLARS and WHIPPET / GREYHOUND /ITALIAN GREYHOUND head study NECKLACES. They are EXQUISITE !!!!!!!!! I've added a few photos and will post more soon! They are all hand made and fired fro a polymer clay, embellished with faux jewels, beads and ribbons. My designs are all copyrighted.to protect my products.
I've recently added a new addition to my whippet family! My little black and white boy will be "going public" soon and photos added! What a joy it is to clean up after puppies again !!! lol He joins my family of whippets, Willie, Rosie, Spicie Lou and Meghan on the king sized bed at night and will be hitting the conformation handling classes soon.
I hope to be organizing a great BRITISH EVENT in Jupiter Farms soon.....which will include a BRITISH VINTAGE CAR SHOW and THE FEATURE EVENT!......REAL OLD FASHIONED WHIPPET RAG RACING !!!! Get those whippet in shape for some "blink of the eye"blazing fast true whippet straight racing !!! Picnic grounds on site....so lets make a great day of it ! I'm sure we will draw a nice crowd as it is located near all of the finest horse equestrian farms in Jupiter! Date and time to be announced!!!!
